Washington D.C. (November 21, 2024) | Rep. Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) has released the following statement following his unanimous reelection to the House Republican Conference's Steering Committee. In the 119th Congress, Rep. Loudermilk will be representing the Georgia/Alabama Region. Additionally, Georgia's influence grew further on the Steering Committee, as Congressman-elect Brian Jack (GA-3) was also chosen to serve, as Freshman Class representative to the Committee.
"It is a very special time in America - a time to focus on bringing fresh ideas, effective reforms, and lasting change to improve the quality of life for every American. That's the objective of the House Republican Conference's Steering Committee, and I am honored to have been unanimously reelected by my colleagues to represent Georgia and Alabama on this critical panel. I also congratulate Congressman-elect Brian Jack on his election to serve, and wish him well as he takes on this role," said Rep. Barry Loudermilk (GA-11).
