Costell and Costell Gallery Presents American Echoes: Iconic Glimpses of Our Nation's Past

Gardiner, ME - The Costell and Costell Gallery is pleased to announce a new interactive exhibition, American Echoes: Iconic Glimpses of Our Nation's Past. Running through July 13, 2024,

American Echoes invites viewers to engage with the diverse narratives that shape our national identity, through works that challenge traditional images of America past and present,

The exhibition aims to challenge visitors' perceptions and encourage a thoughtful reflection on what it means to be American. A highlight of the exhibition is the Naughty Mickey,

a stunning series of 4' x 4' and 6 x 6' oil and multimedia canvasses, which artist El Costell describes as "A challenge to our definition of beauty and dreams and a re-evaluation of

societal standards and the ideals we strive towards.'

In addition to Naughty Mickey, visitors to the gallery will also find intricate metalwork sculptures by Nick Grant and a series of gorgeously rendered landscapes and coastal scenes

by Paloma Costell.

The Costell and Costell Gallery is open Thursday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Monday through Wednesday by appointment or chance.

Admission is free and open to the public.
