ICYMI: Ernst Exposes Biden and Harris for Funding Iran’s Terrorism

WASHINGTON - Following Iran's attack on Israel, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) pointed out that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris continue to endanger Americans by allowing Tehran to profit from illicit oil exports. She warned that allowing Kamala Harris to extend these policies risks the regime gaining nuclear power.

"The world is not in a better place than it was four years ago. What we have seen with this administration is absolute appeasement of our nation's worst enemies, including Iran. They have continued to allow funding for Iran through the illicit sale of oil. We know when President Donald Trump was in office, he put them in a box. The world was safer. Iran was under control. We pushed back against China. We didn't see Russia going into Ukraine, and we certainly didn't have the Gaza Strip and West Bank in an absolute mess."

"President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have let this go on. They are just failing at every level of leadership. We have Americans that are under threat directly from Iran, this is a group that has open assassination attempts out there or open calls for assassination on former administration officials, including President Trump."

"We know exactly what tankers have Iranian oil and yet this administration will do nothing about those tankers. Hence, the 100 plus billion dollars that JD Vance referenced last night that has gone into the coffers of Iran, which are funding the Houthis, which attack Americans, Hamas, who killed Americans, and Hezbollah, which is striking to the north of Israel right now. It's got to stop."

"Iran is going to continue down this very dangerous path of becoming nuclear capable with their armaments. It's got to stop. It needs to end before they get to that point. And this administration only continues to encourage that type of behavior."

"You mentioned the billions of dollars of sanctions that are not enforced. If only we would intercept the oil, the illicit oil that is pouring out of Iran, we can cut them off, cut the funding off that goes to fund terrorism."
