Rowan Music Industry named one of Billboard's 2024 top music business schools

Today, Billboard named Rowan University's Music Industry program one of 2024's top music business schools. The list, composed of 25 programs from around the world, is chosen based on industry recommendations and alumni and program information, with a focus on campus-based, degree-granting institutions.

Billboard chose Rowan for its dynamic and flexible bachelor of science degree program, highlighting the concentrations in both technology and business that allow students to tailor their studies to their specific interests, along with the program's annual career fair which attracts top industry employers like Live Nation to campus to connect with students.

"This recognition is a testament to the hard work and enterprising nature of our faculty and our institution," said Mathieu Gendreau, associate professor and director of music industry at Rowan. "It reflects our commitment to nurturing creativity and innovation in the music landscape. We are incredibly proud to see our program making an impact in an industry we are so passionate about."

Known for its practical, hands-on approach, Rowan Music Industry is more than just a degree program, it is a launching pad for a thriving career in the music business, backed by a network of accomplished alumni industry-leading faculty and comprehensive, hands-on experiences.

The article mentions notable faculty and alumni, including the program's professor of practice and 300 Entertainment/Warner Music group vice president Michael McArthur, and alumni SiriusXM host Erin Constantine, Sony Music Entertainment senior label analyst Ricardo Oropeza and Universal Music Group assistant manager of e-commerce, Gabriella Bruckner.
