Burglar Caught In Cortlandt

PRESS RELEASE

On July 18, 2024, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested John L. Disclafani, age 53, of Buchanan, NY, for Burglary in the 3^rd degree, a class D felony, Criminal Mischief in the 4^th degree, and Possession of Burglar Tools, both class A misdemeanors.

At approximately, 5:15 a.m., Troopers were dispatched for a report of a burglary at the King's Ferry Yacht Club. While searching the building, the suspect, later identified as John Disclafani, was located inside with several prybars.

Disclafani was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail. He is next scheduled to reappear before the court on August 25, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
