About the North Springs MARTA Corridor Study
The North Springs MARTA Corridor Study is a strategic project to make North Springs Station a more walkable destination. It includes an updated street design concept to improve multimodal safety and comfort on Peachtree Dunwoody Road and connect the station area to the planned extension of the PATH400 to the south. It also features a transit-oriented development concept for the undeveloped portion of the North Springs Station site, identifying opportunities to enhance walking and biking access to the station, integrate placemaking features, and to outline a vision for potential future development on the site.
This project is led by the City of Sandy Springs, with funding and support from the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) through its Livable Center Initiative program. MARTA and the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts (PCID) are key partners in this study.
