The AHS Index is a new way to look at data that illuminates a snapshot of our world today. It is intended to highlight health inequities and spark conversation, debate, outrage, and wonder.
Number of emergency room visits provided across Alameda Health System's (AHS') hospitals, including at John George Psychiatric Hospital, in fiscal year 2024: 105,145
Number of outpatient clinic visits, as well as telehealth appointments, provided by AHS staff in fiscal year 2024: 409,492
