Veterans Tribute Events November 10 & 11
League City is extremely proud of our veterans and service members. To show our appreciation, the City is partnering with various organizations to host a variety of activities over two days to honor our local heroes and educate our community about the sacrifices they have made to serve and protect our country.
Sunday, November 10
Residents of all ages are invited to the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center on Sunday, November 10 to experience an immersive exhibit featuring military artifacts from WWI to the present, a panel discussion with local veterans, an expo featuring non-profit groups that serve veterans and their families, and the screening of a documentary that features a local veteran dealing with PTSD as he transitions from military to civilian life. Below is a lineup of what attendees can expect. You don't have to be a veteran or service member to attend.
