Public Safety Friday November 1, 2024
On the night of Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, a vehicle in the Centennial parking lot was entered, and items were taken. The investigation is currently ongoing.
The vehicle had not been locked, and several items were left visible inside. To help prevent incidents like this, we encourage all campus community members to lock and secure their vehicles when leaving them unattended. Whenever possible, remove all valuables from your vehicle. If removal isn't practical, please store items out of sight, such as in the trunk.
Many thefts of this nature are crimes of opportunity and can often be prevented by taking these simple precautions.
