Burn Ban in Effect in Linn County

The State Fire Marshal has issued a burn ban in Linn County. The ban took effect today, October 17 at 10 a.m. and will remain in effect until further notice. A burn ban means open burning is prohibited in Linn County because conditions are dangerous to life or property.
