Brown Rudnick Shortlisted for Three Awards at Law.com International’s 2024 British Legal Awards

Brown Rudnick was named a finalist in three categories for Law.com International's 2024 British Legal Awards.

The firm was shortlisted for "Banking and Finance Team of the Year" for handling one of the largest real estate financings of 2023 and for "Capital Markets Team of the Year" for advising on a complex, cross-border equity financing.

Additionally, partner Eleni Zodiates, a member of the Banking and Finance team, was nominated for "Rising Star."

The awards recognize the outstanding contributions of legal professionals, firms and team within the U.K.'s legal community. Winners will be announced on Nov. 27, 2024 in London.

In November, Brown Rudnick's Banking and Finance team, led by partner Tuvi Keinan, assisted private equity firm Queensgate with the nearly $800 million refinancing of Generator Hostels, a lifestyle hospitality platform which owns, operates and develops assets across Europe and North America. The firm helped with the arrangement and structuring of the global financing, as well as the legal execution.

Brown Rudnick's Capital Markets team, led by partners Lena Hodge and Ian Weinstein, secured the survival of longtime client WANdisco, now named Cirata, in a complex, high-profile cross-border engagement involving a $30 million equity fundraise for the company's turnaround plan following the discovery of a massive fraud.
