Chef Tom Colicchio to Headline Cleaver and Cork 2025

The Tallahassee State College Foundation is proud to announce that Chef Tom Colicchio, a celebrated chef, five-time James Beard Award winner, and television personality, will headline the tenth annual Cleaver and Cork, presented by Amazon.

Known for his Bravo's hit reality series Top Chef, he has guided aspiring chefs and shaped the culinary landscape for over two decades. His charisma, culinary expertise, and high standards have earned him a dedicated following, making him one of the most influential figures in food television. Colicchio's television career extends beyond Top Chef; he has made numerous guest appearances on shows like The Late Show and The Chew and has become a respected voice in food culture and culinary arts.

A respected figure in the culinary world, Chef Tom Colicchio co-founded New York's iconic Gramercy Tavern, where he served as both co-owner and executive chef, solidifying his status as a culinary innovator. His work at Gramercy Tavern helped define New York's dining scene, setting a new standard in American cuisine. Today, as the chef and owner of Crafted Hospitality, Colicchio oversees a celebrated group of restaurants across the nation, including Craft in New York City, Craft Los Angeles, and Heritage Steak in Las Vegas. His first major solo venture, Craft, opened in 2001, emphasizing simple, high-quality ingredients and raising the bar for New American cuisine.

Cleaver and Cork 2025 kicks off with the much-anticipated Progressive Cocktail Party and continues with Plates & Pours experiences, offering a variety of unique dining experiences at local venues. The pinnacle of the event, the Signature Dinner, will take place on Friday, February 28, featuring a four-course menu personally curated by Chef Colicchio.

The celebration continues Saturday, March 1, with the Food & Wine Festival at Tallahassee State College, where guests will indulge in gourmet dishes, fine wines, craft beers, and more. The event concludes with Brunch and Barbeque on Sunday, March 2, a new addition to this year's lineup, blending the flavors of southern barbecue with the spirited sounds of live bluegrass.

Proceeds from the event will support scholarships at Tallahassee State College, making each bite a contribution to student success.
