Travis Rearick, MD Named 'Best Primary Care Physician/Health Care Provider' by Johnstown Magazine

Conemaugh Physician Group - Family Medicine physician Travis Rearick, MD, has been named "Best Primary Care Physican/Health Care Provider" in Johnstown Magazine's 2024 Best of Johnstown Awards.

"I am very grateful to be selected," said Dr. Rearick. "I consider myself very lucky to work with great coworkers/staff at Conemaugh that make work fun, especially my scribe tribe."

Healthcare is a tradition in Dr. Rearick's family; his wife is a physician assistant, and his mother previously worked as a nurse and administrator at Conemaugh Memorial. With a strong support system that acknowledges the time and dedication required for such achievements, Dr. Rearick expressed his heartfelt appreciation to those closest to him.

"I'm very thankful for my wife, mother, and mother-in-law for all the support I get from home with their help with raising our two little girls when I am working long hours or doing paperwork at home."

Dr. Rearick also acknowledged the wisdom he gains from his patients, which helps him become a better provider every day. "I learn so much from them. They impart so much wisdom on me throughout the week, sometimes I feel as though I should be paying them."

Dr. Rearick attended Mercyhurst University where he earned his bachelor's degree in sports medicine before attending West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed his residency as Co-Chief Resident at WVU Rural Family Medicine in Harper's Ferry, WV, before returning to his hometown of Johnstown.
