Caltrans will complete electrical and mechanical upgrades during the bridge closure. The bridge remains safe for travel for the non-closure access.

  • July 15 - December 30, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday

Detour:

  • Caltrans urges motorists to use either the Paintersville Bridge (north of closure) or the Walnut Grove Bridge (south of closure) as an alternate crossing point. (Refer to included maps below).

These Delta bridges were originally constructed in the early 1920s and then reconstructed or refurbished in the early 1950s. Caltrans urges motorists to plan accordingly and to use suggested detours. Current truck restrictions will apply.
