Improvement of cooperation with Kazakhstan in field of telecommunications

Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristić spoke today with Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Zhaslan Madiyev about the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of telecommunications.

At the meeting, the importance of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of Information and Telecommunications and the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, which will be signed tomorrow, as part of the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Serbia, was particularly emphasised.

Ristić informed his interlocutor about the results achieved by Serbia in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector, as well as about the fact that Serbia has become a regional leader when it comes to the ICT field.

The interlocutors agreed that the cooperation between the two countries so far has been good, and accordingly agreed on coordination and exchange of best practices in order to further develop the ICT sector.
