Northport Library to Temporarily Close for Renovation Projects Starting Thursday, November 7

The Northport Library branch is expected to re-open Wednesday, November 20

Due to planned renovation projects including new carpet installation and a door replacement project, the Northport Library branch at 2714 Broadway N. will be closed starting Thursday, Nov. 7. The library is tentatively expected to re-open Wednesday, Nov. 20.

The exterior book drop at the Northport branch will remain open during construction, and all items on hold for library patrons will be made available for pick up at the downtown Main Library during this time.

The library's Casual Crafters event for November has been moved to the downtown Main Library and is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 18, at 5 p.m.

Children's events at the Northport Library are cancelled during the closure, including Children's Storytime and Crafternoons.

Both the Main Library and the Dr. James Carlson Library locations are open and operating with regular hours.
