FlashVote Scientific Surveys Launching Soon, Residents May Receive Text Messages to Participate

Do you have up about one minute a month to help make Cathedral City better?

Beginning this week, Aug. 5-9, 2024, selected Cathedral City residents may receive text messages from the public survey research platform FlashVote.

The City of Cathedral City is working with FlashVote to engage the community and gather valuable input from residents to inform our decisions. We encourage residents to sign up if they receive a text message from FlashVote.

You can also sign up here now: https://www.flashvote.com/cathedralcity or call 775-235-2240 to participate by phone or text only.

Sign up takes less than one minute and your input is always kept anonymous. Personal or demographic information collected by FlashVote is never shared with the City or anyone else. When residents sign up, they can determine how surveys are received - whether by email, text or phone call. They will receive a notification whenever there is a new survey, and they will have 48 hours to participate before voting closes. Once a survey is closed, everyone who participated will automatically receive a summary of the overall results and be able to see how their responses compare to the group.

"We continue to seek input from our residents about the ways they prefer to consume news and information about what's happening in Cathedral City," said Ryan Hunt, Communications & Events Manager. "By partnering with FlashVote, we're making it easier for citizens to give us feedback we can use to apply to our strategies to reach as many people as possible, and to continue to provide exciting signature events everyone can enjoy in this beautiful desert community."

Please watch for text messages to be sent starting Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, and sign up so you don't miss the first survey - coming soon!
