Drug Control Units Recovered 204 Grams of Marijuana and 15 Grams of Crack Cocaine

At about 4:50 PM, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, members of the Drug Control Units of Districts B-2 (Roxbury) and C-6 (South Boston) arrested Ramon Pinnick, 34, of Dorchester, on drug and firearm related charges.

Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 135 East Cottage Street. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered three plastic bags of Crack Cocaine, 62 plastic bags of a Marijuana, 98 rounds of ammunition, multiple magazines, and a ballistic vest. Officers also recovered multiple scales, baggies, various drug packaging material, and about $2,968 in U.S. currency.

Officers later determined that the Crack Cocaine weighed approximately 15 grams, and the Marijuana weighed approximately 204 grams.

Pinnick was placed under arrest and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

A second suspect, Derrick Steele, 36, of Boston, was located at the scene and placed under arrest as a result of two warrants for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault and Battery.

Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
