Four teens arrested after pursuit with stolen vehicle

On December 1, 2024, Troopers out of Lockport arrested four, 14-year-olds for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree and two of the 14-year-olds with Resisting Arrest.

On December 1, 2024, at 3:02 A.M., Troopers out of SP Lockport observed a 2002 Toyota Camry fail to stop at a stop sign at Ohio Street and West Ave in Lockport, NY. Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop and the Toyota failed to comply. Troopers initiated a pursuit. The Toyota stuck a fence off Vine Street and the vehicle came to rest. All four teens fled on foot from the vehicle. Troopers with the assistance of Lockport Police Department and Niagara County Sheriff's Office located and arrested all the suspects in the area. The Toyota had been recently stolen, the owner did not know the vehicle was taken. The Toyota was unlocked with the keys in the vehicle.

All the teens were processed at SP Lockport and issued appearance tickets for Family Court in December 2024.
