OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES of Portions of Pellicano Drive: El Paso Electric to Conduct Energy Delivery Improvements

EL PASO, Texas (September 5, 2024) - El Paso Electric (EPE) will make upgrades to its power lines and poles in far east El Paso and will require overnight lane closures of portions of Pellicano Dr. EPE crews will conduct work for approximately four weeks beginning September 8, 2024, through October 8, 2024.

To safely work on these upgrades, commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades. Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement and Apache Barricade & Sign.

Lane closures will occur nightly for approximately four weeks.

• 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. beginning September 8, 2024, through October 8, 2024
• Lane closures will take place on Pellicano Dr. between Aircoupe Way and Darrington Rd.
• Commuters are asked to follow detour signage and barricades
