Habersham County announces delayed opening, some closures

Hurricane Helene is prompting schedule changes and closures in Habersham County.

• All Habersham County Government offices will delay opening until 10 a.m. Thursday, September 26.
• The Habersham County Courthouse will open at 8 a.m. Thursday, September 26.
• Habersham County Magistrate Court will delay opening until 10 a.m. Thursday, September 26.
• Habersham County Probate Court will delay opening until 10 a.m. Thursday, September 26.
• The Habersham County Health Department and Habersham County Environmental Health will operate on a two-hour delay Thursday, September 26.
• The Habersham County Senior Center will be closed to the public Thursday and Friday, September 26-27.
• Habersham Transit will not operate Thursday and Friday, September 26-27.
• All evening Habersham County Parks and Recreation activities Thursday and Friday, September 26-27, are canceled.
