HPT collaborates with technology partners to make...

On August 23, 2024, HPT participated in the Southern Region Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition 2024, themed "Ensuring Information Security for Digital Infrastructure, Digital Data, and Digital Economy Against Cybercrime." This is one of the most important events in the field of Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity, organized by the Vietnam Information Security Association - Southern Branch (VNISA Southern) in collaboration with the Authority of Information Security - Ministry of Information and Communications and the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, under the auspices of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. This annual event, organized by VNISA Southern, attracts the attention of the scientific and technological community in the IT and cybersecurity fields, as well as leaders of agencies and businesses implementing digital transformation applications, and state management agencies at the central and provincial levels in the Southern region.

At the opening, Mr. Ngo Vi Dong, Vice President of the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA), Chairman of the VNISA Southern Branch, and Chairman of the HPT Board of Directors, emphasized: "The battle against cybercrime is always direct, requiring us not only to remain vigilant but also to have strategies, capabilities to detect, prevent, and mitigate information security threats." This statement not only highlighted the significance of the event but also reaffirmed the pioneering role of VNISA and its technology partners in protecting and raising awareness about cybersecurity in Vietnam.

Mr. Ngo Vi Dong, Vice President of the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA), Chairman of the VNISA Southern Branch, and Chairman of the HPT Board of Directors, delivered the opening speech of the program.

At this year's Southern Region Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition, HPT not only played the role of a Bronze sponsor but also actively participated by setting up a booth to showcase five outstanding information security products/solutions to the attendees. These products not only garnered interest from customers and partners but also affirmed HPT's position in keeping up with technology and security trends in Vietnam. Additionally, they provided opportunities to connect and collaborate with both domestic and international technology partners, specifically:

1. YubiKey Passwordless Authentication Solution: A physical security device using multi-factor authentication (MFA) to prevent phishing attacks and minimize the risk of password theft.

2. HCapollo Cybersecurity Monitoring and Alert Solution: Operates 24/7 to monitor and handle abnormal alerts within information systems.

3. BShield Comprehensive Mobile Application Protection Solution: Ensures the security of source code and application resources, helping businesses comply with personal information security regulations.
