Washington D.C. - Honigman LLP announced today that it is expanding its Washington D.C. office with the addition of N. Danny Shulman as partner. Shulman, who will be part of the firm's Transactions & Counseling Practice Group and Corporate Department, joins from Latham & Watkins.
Shulman focuses his practice on representing companies and investors in a broad range of corporate and securities law matters, with an emphasis on early-stage venture financings within the life sciences and biotechnology industry. Working closely with management teams, Shulman advises on a wide range of strategic, corporate and securities law matters that companies face throughout the corporate growth cycle.
"We're elated to have Danny join Honigman as a partner given his extensive background in venture financing in the ever-evolving life sciences and biotech industries," said Kim Dudek, Chair of Honigman's Corporate Department. "Danny's experience executing complex transactions and serving as an advisor to management teams will be invaluable to our team and clients in the DC-area and beyond."
Shulman has extensive experience advising companies and investment banks in initial and follow-on equity offerings, PIPEs, ATMs, secured and unsecured high yield debt offerings and exchange transactions.
"I'm thrilled to join Honigman's talented Corporate group devoted to first-class client service," Shulman said. "With the firm entering an exciting period of growth both nationally and in Washington D.C, clients will benefit from Honigman's dedicated client offerings and strong platform for life sciences companies."
