PPB Warns of Thefts of Honda Vehicle Parts

December 13, 2024 11:50

The Portland Police Bureau wants to warn the community of numerous thefts of Honda vehicle parts.

Since mid-November, PPB has received at least 18 reports of an electronic part being stolen from the front of a Honda vehicle. One report was filed by a local car dealership after 16 vehicles on its lot were targeted. While these thefts have been reported all over the Portland area, a significant number have occurred in Southeast Portland, from Southeast Stark Street to Southeast Woodstock Boulevard and Southeast Cesar Chavez Boulevard to Southeast 82nd Avenue.

PPB is asking for the public's help in identifying at least one suspect who stole an electronic part from a Honda parked outside a home in the Montavilla Neighborhood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF1cZCbIfaQ

PPB urges Honda owners to park their vehicles in a garage if that is an option. If not, Honda owners are encouraged to park in well-lit areas where accessibility to the front of the vehicle is difficult.

Anyone with information about these thefts, or anyone who believes they might be a victim, is urged to contact [email protected].
