Deadline To Submit Artwork Extended To Friday, December 20

The City of League City has extended the deadline to accept artwork for its upcoming "Small Works by Great Minds" gallery. The new deadline is Friday, December 20. The guidelines have also been amended to allow for submissions that are up to 12" x 12" in size. This includes 3-dimensional, sculpture, and multi-media pieces. Due to the deadline extension, the exhibit will not open for public display until January 2025.

Requirements

All art must be dropped off at 600 West Walker Street and must have a label that includes the name of the artist, email and phone number, the title of the piece, and whether or not it is for sale. The artwork must be wired and ready to hang. NO saw tooth hangers. Each artist may submit only TWO pieces maximum.

All artwork must stay up for the duration of the exhibition. No nudes or obscene art will be accepted. The City reserves the right to refuse any work that, in their judgment, does not meet the eligibility requirements.
