Planning and Zoning Committee Chair Jennifer Gamble remains in her role by virtue of election to a two-year term by the Council. The Ad Hoc East Bank Committee (established 10/27/23) will be chaired by Quinn Evans Segall. The appointed chairs will oversee their first meeting on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 and have been asked to select a vice chair by Monday, September 16, 2024.

In a memo to the Metro Council, the Vice Mayor expressed thanks to 2023-2024 committee chairs, all of whom have prepared a transition memo to ensure the Council maintains institutional memory and continuity in its work efforts. "I am grateful to those members who have agreed to retain or accept a leadership role for the coming year."
