These services can be billed monthly in MySonicWall starting October 1st, 2024.

The new Service Provider Monthly Model covers SonicWall Switches and SonicWave 600 Series Access Points.

For SonicWave devices:

  • Essential Bundle: Includes Secure Cloud Wi-Fi Management, 24×7 support, 7-day WNM (Wireless Network Management) reporting and logs, 7-day alerting, and 365-day audit logging.
  • Advanced Bundle: Adds content filtering, Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Cloud Anti-Virus Security, and extends reporting and alerting to 30 days.

For SonicWall Switches:

  • Essential Bundle: Features Wireless Network Management, 24×7 support, 30-day WNM reporting and logs, 30-day alerting, and 365-day audit logging.

Streamlined Billing and Management

Managing hardware and billing through MySonicWall is now easier than ever. The subscription model automates billing, reduces administrative overhead and allows partners and customers to pay only for what they use. This scalable approach helps businesses adapt quickly as their security needs evolve.

  • Real-time Notifications: Administrators can customize system alerts, such as downtime notifications for access points, and control email recipients for alerts.
  • Improved VLAN Management: Streamlined VLAN creation and management allows administrators to configure multiple switches more efficiently, reducing the complexity of port assignments and large switch deployments.
  • Daylight Saving Time (DST) Support: Switches can automatically adjust system time based on geographical location, improving time accuracy for regions observing DST.
