TSAHC Receives $23,000 Grant from Bank of America

TSAHC recently received a $23,000 grant from Bank of America in support of the Texas Supportive Housing Institute. The Institute, provided by TSAHC in partnership with the Corporation for Supportive Housing, provides nonprofit development teams with information, resources, and tools to create successful permanent supportive housing (PSH) projects in their communities.

As a nationwide model, PSH is considered the most effective housing intervention for individuals living with a serious persistent mental illness, and persons experiencing chronic homelessness or at-risk of homelessness. The service-enriched affordable housing provided by PSH communities helps the most vulnerable individuals and families lead more stable lives.

Bank of America's generous investment will support the 2024 Institute, as well as the efforts made by participating development teams to establish their PSH projects.
