For the 10th consecutive year, the team at Huron Valley State Bank has proudly upheld its tradition of spreading joy and cheer during the Thanksgiving season. This milestone year, the bank once again hosted its annual Thanksgiving food drive, collecting canned and boxed non-perishable goods, along with fresh potatoes, butter, and pumpkin pies at all its branches and the financial center.
Taking their commitment a step further, the bank assembled five (5) Thanksgiving baskets filled with these essentials and included vouchers for turkeys provided by The Village Butcher. These baskets will be donated to families in the community. Reflecting on the milestone, Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO, stated, "Celebrating ten years of this incredible tradition is a testament to the generosity and compassion of our team. Their unwavering enthusiasm to give back has made a real difference in the lives of families in our community. It's inspiring to see their commitment year after year."
Susan Bowen, Vice President of Mortgage Lending and organizer of the program, echoed this sentiment, "It's an honor to be part of an organization that consistently prioritizes helping others. This year's effort ensured families not only enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal but also had non-perishable goods to sustain them in the weeks that followed. Celebrating ten years of this initiative makes it even more special."
