Motorcyclist dies following Sunday morning crash

On September 22, 2024, around 2:50 am Boise Police were dispatched to a report of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of S. Vista Ave and W. Rose Hill St. The adult male motorcycle rider was rushed to a local hospital and passed away on September 23, 2024.
On scene, there was no immediate evidence that another vehicle was involved. Witnesses reported seeing the victim after the crash, but officers did not locate anyone who witnessed the crash. BPD's Crash Reconstruction team responded to the scene and a preliminary investigation shows that the rider was headed north on Vista and crossed the intersection with Rose Hill before colliding with a concrete wall.
The Ada County Coroner will identify the victim pending notification of next of kin. Anyone with additional information about the crash is asked to call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
