LSP Detectives Investigating Baton Rouge Police Department Officer-Involved Shooting

Baton Rouge - This morning, the Baton Rouge Police Department (BPRD) requested assistance from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations - Criminal Investigations Division to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred near the 3400 block of N. Sherwood Forest Drive.

One subject was injured, transported to a local hospital, and later booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. No officers were injured during this incident. This investigation remains ongoing, and updates will be provided as they become available.
