Changes in Bankruptcy Rules and Forms Effective December 1, 2024

Effective December 1, 2024, the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure were amended to include restyled Rules Parts I through IX, amendments to Rules 1007, 4004, 5009, 7001, and 9006, and new Rule 8023.1. In addition, one official bankruptcy form, Proof of Claim (Form 410), was amended and one form, Certification About a Financial Management Course (Form 423) was abrogated.
