Sparks Fire Department to Host Annual Pancake Breakfast September 28


The City of Sparks Fire Department will host its 34th Annual Pancake Breakfast on September 28, 2024, from 8 a.m. to noon at Fire Station 4, 1450 Disc Drive.  

Sparks City Councilmembers, firefighters, and staff will be on hand to serve pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, juice, milk, and coffee.

The pancake breakfast includes jaws of life vehicle extractions, fire station tours, and many interactive educational displays. Children are invited to participate in the Junior Firefighter Challenge and get their picture taken with "Sparky" the fire dog.

Sparks Fire will ask for a $5 donation from the general public and children under 10 and seniors aged 65 and older are free. Funds generated help support local community public fire safety education programs and victims of fire.

Parking will be available along Disc Dr. east of Vista Blvd. and several nearby parking lots. For more information, email [email protected].
