HELENA, Mont. - Governor Greg Gianforte and Department of Administration Director Misty Ann Giles yesterday recognized state employees who have gone above and beyond in their service to the people of Montana with the Governor's Awards for Excellence.
"Service is at the core of our Montana values and it's part of what makes our state the Last Best Place," Gov. Gianforte said. "When we see state employees providing Montanans with exceptional service, we want to recognize them, and that's what this award is all about."

During the 33rd annual Governor's Awards for Excellence, Gov. Gianforte and Director Giles recognized 204 state employees for their accomplishments and dedicated public service and 19 recipients of the Governor's Outstanding Service Award.
Award recipients ranged from teams with a singular mission to individuals who enhanced the workings of state government and strengthened Montana communities.
Recipients of the Governor's Awards for Excellence include:

"In every government area, state employees make a positive difference working to ensure our state runs effectively and efficiently. We are thankful to these state employees for providing excellent service to Montana's citizens."
