Tyler Parkway Nighttime Roadway Grinding

Starting Monday, September 16, 2024, nighttime roadway grinding operations will occur from 7pm to 7am on Tyler Parkway roughly between Century Avenue and I-94 and on Burnt Boat Drive within one block of the Tyler Parkway & Burnt Boat Drive intersection. Work is anticipated to last two weeks, weather permitting. The roads will remain open, but flaggers will control traffic in the vicinity of the grinding machines.

Previously, the road construction project replaced damaged concrete panels. This next phase of the project will grind the roadway so there is a smooth ride, and drivers won't feel a thump every time they drive over a joint.
