SMP Forms New Joint Company, SMP STABIL GmbH

STABIL ELEKTROTECHNIK GmbH and STABIL VERBINDUNGSTECHNIK GmbH will be merged on July 1st, 2024 into one legal entity under the new joint company name SMP STABIL GmbH.

The location of SMP STABIL GmbH in Kirchheim, Germany will be retained, as will all communication channels and employees. SMP STABIL GmbH is registered under HRB 232073, Amtsgericht Stuttgart, Germany and will use the VAT identification number DE 814570935 and the DUNS no. 50-663-3978, which is identical to that of STABIL ELEKTROTECHNIK GmbH.

STABIL PRODUKT Elektrotechnikai Kft. is also changing its name. From July 1st, 2024, the STABIL production facility in Hungary will now be called SMP STABIL Kft. Here, too, company identification numbers, e-mail addresses, etc. will remain unchanged.

We are pleased that with the new joint company and the new company names, we can continue the integration process of STABIL and SMP and clearly underline our strategy to be a resilient supplier for our customers.

SMP STABIL GmbH and SMP STABIL Kft. are integrated into the strong, global SMP organization to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow for all SMP customers worldwide. Together with SMP Inc.'s European locations in Germany, Hungary, Poland and the UK, we are ideally positioned to serve our broad range of premium OEM/Tier 1 customers, including those in the heavy truck, construction, agricultural and light vehicle market segments.

SMP STABIL GmbH and SMP STABIL Kft., as part of SMP Inc. will continue to be a product developer, manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of electronic temperature, level, position, speed and smart sensors, LIN/CAN bus compatible electronic control units and mechanical clamping devices.
