Shakespeare in the Park

Hear ye, hear ye! Shakespeare in the Park coming to Santa Ana's Birch Park on July 31

Shakespeare by the Sea is bringing a live performance of 'Henry IV: Falstaff and the Boy Who Would be King' to downtown Santa Ana.

Santa Ana, Calif. - Join a free, live performance of William Shakespeare's highly acclaimed "Henry IV: Falstaff and the Boy Who Would be King" on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Birch Park, 210 N. Birch St., in downtown Santa Ana. The park opens at 6:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 7 p.m.

The outdoor performance will be presented by the talented Shakespeare by the Sea theater company and hosted by the City of Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency. "Henry IV: Falstaff and the the Boy Who Would be King" is ahistoric tale of young Prince Henry who embraces his destiny as King of England and leads his country to victory at Agincourt. This play is a story of power, honor and rebellion.

Public parking is directly adjacent to the park, and guests are encouraged to arrive early. Concessions will be available for purchase. The public is encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets and picnics, or enjoy dinner from one of Santa Ana's finest eateries just walking distance from the park. Join us for a dramatic night of theater under the stars!
