FloridaCommerce Extends Grant Program Application Deadlines Due to Hurricane Helene

~ Deadline to Apply for Florida Defense Infrastructure Grants and Florida Defense Reinvestment Grant is October 18; Deadline to Apply for Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant is October 31 ~

Tallahassee, FL - Today, FloridaCommerce announced the extension of application deadlines for grant award programs due to Hurricane Helene. The deadline for the Florida Defense Infrastructure Grant (DIG) and Florida Defense Reinvestment Grant (DRG) programs have been extended to October 18, 2024. The deadline for the Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) has been extended to October 31, 2024. This extension will accommodate communities impacted by Hurricane Helene, providing additional time to apply and will not impact the state's timeline to issue awards.
