Two men arrested after early morning burglary at Tactics Board Shop

At 3:31 a.m. on September 3, Eugene Police officers responded to a burglary in progress at Tactics Board Shop, 375 W 4th Avenue. Two men were reported to be inside ransacking the store.

Officers quickly arrived and found the two suspects walking westbound out of the lot and aired this to other responding units. The two men started to flee and after a foot chase, both were caught and arrested. One of the suspects, Shawn Vincent Kanzulak-Wills, age 28, had been holding a large bindle of skateboards. Kanzulak-Wills was lodged at Lane County Jail on five warrants, Burglary in the Second Degree, and Interfering. Case 24-12999

The other suspect, Gerald Joseph Murray, age 31, had a warrant and was lodged on this and was cited for Interfering with a Police Officer (Case 24-13000).

A Lane County Sheriff's Office K9 team ensured the building was clear.
