Three Years Since The Disastrous Withdrawal

This week marked the three year anniversary of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' DISASTROUS withdrawal from Afghanistan. Joe and Kamala's incompetence hurt America's standing on the global stage, but even worse their disregard for strategic planning showed they view our men and women in uniform as disposable.

The Biden-Harris administration cost 13 AMERICAN service members their lives during the Afghanistan withdrawal. Under normal circumstances, such a catastrophic failure would result in a full house cleaning at the State Department, the Pentagon, and the national security council.

Yet, not one person lost their job because of this botched withdrawal. Perhaps even worse, the Biden-Harris administration.

We cannot change the events of August 30, 2021, but we can certainly seek justice for the thirteen service members whose lives were LOST and the countless Americans and Afghan partners STRANDED on that day.

The American taxpayer demands answers to how and why $7 BILLION of our military assets now bear the insignia of the Taliban.

The Afghan women may not be able to speak, but they surely demand justice themselves for having lost their rights OVERNIGHT to the strict Taliban regime.

Our adversaries throughout the world saw what we all have seen in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Israel. Weakness does not deliver peace.

We cannot afford any more mistakes such as the one committed by the Biden-Harris Administration and so I will continue to do my part by pressing forward to deliver oversight of today's lagging foreign policy as Chair of the House Foreign Affairs' Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability.
