2024 CEO Award Winners Celebrated for Outstanding Service

Identifying innovative ways to automate processes, enhancing the customer experience, connecting employees to mental health and wellbeing resources and spending hundreds of hours volunteering with local nonprofits are just a few things Nationwide employees do to make a difference with their customers and colleagues and in the community.

As Nationwide continues to leverage its hybrid work model, opportunities for employees to come together throughout the year remain a top priority. And, at the annual, company-wide meeting, employees gathered in person and virtually to reflect on the past year and celebrate the employees who went above and beyond to deliver outstanding service and results.

Awarded annually, a Nationwide CEO Award is considered the highest recognition an employee can earn. This year, the winners were nominated in categories that include innovation, living our high-performing, caring culture, customer centricity and community impact.

"Each year, it's an honor to celebrate the exceptional CEO Award winners," said Nationwide CEO Kirt Walker. "These winners exceed expectations and live our mission in all they do."

Over 100 employees were peer-nominated for a 2024 CEO Award. The 14 winners were selected by Walker and his executive leadership team.

"Our CEO Award winners are truly remarkable," said Chief Human Resources Officer Vinita Clements. "Our people make Nationwide a great place to work and these winners' dedication to each other, our customers and their communities is inspiring."
