City of Cedar Falls Labor Day Hours

In observance of the upcoming Labor Day holiday, the City of Cedar Falls will be operating the following hours:

Starting September 3, the Cedar Falls Rec Center will transition to fall/winter hours (Monday-Thursday: 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Friday: 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

The Cedar Falls Transfer Station and Recycling Center will be closed on September 2. There will be no yard waste collected that week. To learn more about recycling and refuse collection in Cedar Falls, please visit bit.ly/CFRefuse.

Due to the holiday, the Cedar Falls City Council will hold its first meeting in September on Tuesday, September 3. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall (220 Clay Street).
