City Unveils New Parks & Recreation App

September 27, 2024 - Exploring Midland's parks, trails, recreational amenities, and programs just got even easier thanks to a new, free mobile app from Midland Parks and Recreation.

The mobile app provides users with access to a wide array of information and services in one place, including a complete list of all City-owned parks; trail maps; program information for City athletic leagues, special events, and swim lessons; park registration and event registration tools; park accessibility information; Rainout Line status updates; and an explore-by-feature option for residents to easily find a park or space that accommodates the activity they want to do.

"With more than 70 parks and dozens of trails, recreational programs, activities, and events, keeping up-to-date on what's happening and where things are located can be a huge challenge in Midland," said Director of Public Services Karen Murphy. "This new app will give residents a single spot to find all the information they need to enjoy everything Parks and Recreation has to offer. We're very excited to provide this service to the community."

The Midland Parks and Recreation app is available free to download on mobile devices from the App Store and Google Play. For more information on City parks and recreational amenities, visit http://www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/recreation or call 989-837-6930.
