Delaware County Underage Drinking Initiative Results

On August 30, 2024, the New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in Delaware County.

During the initiative 15 business were checked for compliance, and ALL were found to be in compliance.

The following 15 businesses DID NOT sell alcohol to a person under the age of 21:

• Mirabito Quickway#2, State Highway 8, Masonville, NY
• Smiley's Convenience Store, W. Main St, Sidney, NY
• Mirabito Quickway #59, W. Main St, Sidney, NY
• Mirabito Quickway #35, Delaware Ave, Sidney, NY
• Maria's Convenience Store, 49 Union St, Sidney, NY
• Liquor & Wine Emporium, Delaware Ave, Walton, NY
• Speedway, Delaware St, Walton, NY
• Valero, Delaware St, Walton, NY
• Breakey's Liquor Store, Bridge St, Walton, NY
• Sunoco Country Store, Delaware St, Walton, NY
• Speedway, Main St, Delhi, NY
• Sunoco County Store, Kingston St, Delhi, NY
• Mirabito Quickway #27, Elm St, Delhi, NY
• Delhi Liquor Store, Main St, Delhi, NY

• Mirabito Quickway #4, Main St, Franklin, NY

During these investigations, businesses are checked utilizing a Trooper in plain clothes and one or several underage operatives who cannot lie about their age of provide a false date of birth.
