NEW BRUNSWICK,NJ (August 25, 2024) - A new addition to the school gym and exercise room were unveiled this week at New Brunswick High School. The 13,000-square-foot gym and the 6,480-square-foot weight room are part of a $5.898 million project that will provide the school's sports teams with more flexibility and potentially host major tournaments.

The gym addition seamlessly integrates with the existing gym, featuring connecting doors and modern amenities. New scoreboards, bleachers and a large Zebra logo adorn the space. The new workout room is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, rowing machines, step machines, and free weights.

Students will have the opportunity to take an elective exercise class in the workout room, while gym classes will be held in the auxiliary gym. This expanded facility will enhance the school's athletic programs and provide students with more opportunities for physical activity.
