The northbound lanes of Truman Parkway between DeRenne and Henry/Anderson exits will close at 5 a.m. to vehicle traffic. Truman Parkway is expected to be completely reopened by 3 p.m. Downtown and Midtown area roadway closures will begin at 6 a.m. on Saturday and should be completely reopened by 11:30 a.m.

Savannah Police Department will have over 180 officers working the event and stationed throughout the city assisting with the marathon and moving residents and vehicles around the route as needed.
The marathon is expecting close to 7,000 runners and their family members for the marathon. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead, be patient, and expect delays. Over 40% of the registered runners are first-time marathon runners. The finish festival will be held on private property at the Trustees Garden.
Every Woman's Marathon by Team Milk is the only U.S. marathon designed by and for women. Built to be inclusive, accessible, empowering, and community-building, the marathon will host several weekend events of wellness and celebration.
