The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) jointly promote Thailand's MICE industry in Kolkata

On 30 July 2024, Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata delivered a welcoming address at 'Thailand MICE Roadshow in India 2024' organized by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) in Kolkata. The event was attended by Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President of TCEB, TCEB officials, 28 Thai companies in tourism and MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition) industry and over 100 local Indian travel agents. The event aimed at facilitating business matching and networking among Thai and Indian entrepreneurs in MICE industry in order to entice more Indians to choose Thailand as a destination for hosting international meetings and exhibitions. The event also complements the Royal Thai Government's policy on 'Ignite Tourism Thailand' that aimed at positioning Thailand as a premier tourism hub and global destination.
