Discover Hidden Bars and Speakeasies in Downtown Las Vegas

Downtown Las Vegas is eclectic in entertainment, food, and drinks, and it's an area where anyone can go with family and friends to have a drink.

But not every establishment is visible to the naked eye from the streets.

Here are some hidden bars and speakeasies you probably didn't know about in DTLV, and most of them are within walking distance of each other!

The Underground Speakeasy and Distillery

What better way to start a virtual tour of hidden bars and speakeasies in downtown Las Vegas than with one that is smack dab in the middle of history at the Mob Museum?!

The Underground Speakeasy and Distillery takes visitors back in time to the days of drinking forbidden fruit-the prohibition era.

The speakeasy isn't just a place to taste wine and sprits from a prohibition-themed menu-it's also an immersive experience for those thirsty for knowledge about the Roaring Twenties. Throughout the speakeasy, exhibits tell the stories of flappers, jazz musicians and notorious gangsters.

There's also weekly live music filling the environment with popular tunes from the jazz age and those looking for a bite to eat, can order food!

Patrons will need a password to enter, so check their website before going because the password changes every day.

The Laundry Room

Tucked inside the more visible Commonwealth Bar, the Laundry Room offers a unique blend of a gentleman's lounge meets old-world charm.

This speakeasy gives off serious 1920s and 1930s vibes, with dim lighting, piano music, and handcrafted cocktails tailored to each guest's preferences.

With only 22 seats available, the atmosphere is intimate, ensuring a personalized experience. Because of its limited capacity, reservations are a must if you want to secure your spot in this charming hideaway.

Mike Morey's Sip 'N' Tip

Just a block away from the Fremont Street Experience, you'll find Mike Morey's Sip 'N' Tip. Hidden in an alley near its sister venue, the Downtown Cocktail Room, this bar sets itself apart with its neon sign, inviting you to enter.

To gain access, you'll ring the bell and wait for someone to answer-a classic speakeasy touch. Once inside, the mood is set with cozy booths, soft lighting and an industrial vibe.

Polaroids line the walls, giving the space a nostalgic, personal feel by showcasing snapshots of past patrons.

SEVEN:45

In the Arts District, SEVEN:45 is a speakeasy that caters to the R&B lover.

To enter this speakeasy, you'll walk down a long hallway lined with black-and-white photos of R&B legends like Babyface, Maxwell, and Jodeci, before reaching the secret door.

Giving record store vibes, you can pull up to the bar or some of the cozier couches to enjoy a cocktail over the smooth sounds of R&B music from today and decades past.

Known to give patrons a micro-lounge experience, Seven:45 was inspired by Janet Jackson's opening tracks on Velvet Rope titled, "Twisted Elegance."

With a maximum capacity of just 40 guests, this venue ensures an intimate vibe, so reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are accepted if space is available.
