Official Visit to the Republic of Korea of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand

H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, is scheduled to pay an official visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) from 31 July to 2 August 2024 at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Cho Tae-yul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the ROK. This will be the first official visit to the ROK by H.E. Mr. Maris in his capacity as Foreign Minister.

On this occasion, the Foreign Minister is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Han Duck-soo, Prime Minister of the ROK, as well as hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Cho Tae-yul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the ROK, to exchange views on ways to further enhance Thailand - ROK relations in all aspects, especially cooperation in future industries to boost economic growth. Both sides will also exchange views and insights on international and regional issues of mutual interest.

During the visit, the Foreign Minister will also meet with executives of the ROK's leading conglomerates, as well as Thai government agencies in Seoul.
