Recently, autonomous patrol vehicles in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area have been equipped with new skills. Besides the functions of regional surveillance, emergency assistance in one click and patrolling, they now can monitor air quality in real-time. These are China's first batch of autonomous vehicles that can monitor air quality intelligently.

As a complement to the existing satellite remote sensing monitor, autonomous patrol vehicles operate 24 hours a day, enabling real-time monitoring of eight parameters including inhalable particles. This will help to accurately monitor the atmospheric environment quality and formulate countermeasures.
